| Know the Material |
|
Once the student knows the test and the strategies that can be used to take advantage of it, knowing the material brings it all together. This gives the student the maximum possible advantage, which will give them a significant score increase. It is important to cover what is on the test, but it is also just as important to exclude those subjects and concepts that are not on the test. Broad subjects like math, grammar and science are tested in very specific and predicable ways. Covering general concepts that are not tested, is inefficient, wastes student's time; instead of doing this, Preazy Prep targets only material that will be tested. A good example of this is on the science section of the ACT, where many programs resort to teaching science concepts that are not tested on the test. At Preazy Prep, the student is taught instead to find the answers where they are located: in the passage. Fortunately, most students know more than they think, even if they cannot recall the specific rules. Preazy Prep fine tunes the areas where improvement is needed and teach new material where needed. Once the student knows the material that is being tested, every question is a possible point. |
